On Sunday afternoon the Continental Village FD along with Peekskill VAC were dispatched to Bear Mountain Bridge Road for a Hiker Rescue on Anthony's Nose. Once on scene units entered the woods and made patient contact on the Blue trail on the steepest part of the mountain. At this time it was determined that more manpower was needed and Garrison & Fort Montgomery FDs were requested to the scene for assistance. Firefighters and EMS packaged the injured hiker and slowly brought her down the mountain.
