On Tuesday Night, members from Continental Village Fire Department, Cold Spring Fire Department, North Highlands Fire Department and Garrison Fire Department, all came together to attend a class presented by the Putnam County Hazmat team. Crews sat down and were explained about the operations of the Hazmat team and how they operate at emergencies and how each department can help. A hands on scenario was then presented and all members were able to participate and learn about how to handle a Hazmat situation when it occurred. Thank you to our neighbor, Garrison FD, for hosting this training and providing dinner for all who came!
