On Wednesday morning the Continental Village Fire Department was requested to provide a water rescue standby crew to the city of Peekskill for the This Is Me Foundations annual Polar Plunge. However this year do to the storm from the night before conditions were deemed unsafe for plunging into the river so Peekskill Fire department hosed the participants down on land.
