Early Saturday morning the Continental Village Fire Department was requested to standby a Peekskill's Fire Headquarters while they operated at a structure fire on DePew Street. The department was then requested to the scene when a second alarm was called. Firefighters operated at the scene until the fire was brought under control and they were released.
