On Monday morning the Continental Village Fire Department was dispatched to a residence on Susan Lane for a Reported Structure Fire with people possibly trapped. Upon arrival firefighters found all the occupants were safely out of the residence and that there was no fire. There was however a smoke condition in the basement of the residence and high levels of CO from a oil burner malfunction. Firefighters shut the oil burner down and went to work venting the residence until the CO levels cleared before returning to service. Garrison FD was requested to the scene to provide additional ventilation fans.
