On Friday Night the Continental Village Fire Department was dispatched to a residence on Old Albany Post Road for a reported structure fire. Upon arrival 14-1-1 advised control that he had visible fire from the roof and requested his 10-75 (Working Fire) response. This brought additional mutual aid departments to the scene to assist. Once apparatus arrived on scene firefighters made an aggressive interior attack and extinguished the fire that was in a void space between the top floor ceiling and roof line. After knocking down the main body of fire firefighters opened the surrounding area looking for any extension.
